In support of FISH and the local postal workers, we have an opportunity to serve those facing food insecurity in the Sonoma Valley. On May 11th mail carriers will pick up food donations along their route and bring it back to the post office as part of their “Stamp Out Hunger Campaign.” There are three ways to get involved.
Leave non-perishable food in a box/bag by your mailbox the morning of Saturday, May 11th.
If you have a truck, van, or large SUV we need help transporting the food from the Broadway Post Office to FISH (18330 Sonoma Hwy).
Once at FISH the food needs to be sorted by type, date, etc. in their food pantry area.
If you’re interested in option 2 or 3 there are a few 2 hour shifts designated from 12-7pm to cover the need. Please click below to email your availability along with the area you’d like to serve and we’ll confirm service times.
